Despite adverse circumstances surrounding Covid19, this year's 25th edition of SITEM once again proved to be a successful trade fair and an indispensable meeting place for museum furnishers and the equipment and service needs of museums and many other cultural institutions. During three days, keynotes, presentations, workshops as well as presentations of new products took place live on site under Covid health and safety measures. The visitors to the fair, but also we exhibitors, were very happy about the live contacts on site, this could be seen from the mood in the conversations.
With 148 exhibitors, around 2,000 visitors on site and 254 virtual visitors online, we from ArtStore can also speak of a successful conference for us this year. Our stand was well visited throughout the entire event, over the three days of the fair. We were able to make new contacts and maintain old ones. On the one hand, the current market needs could be clarified and new ArtStore products could be shown. Many visitors to the fair or potential customers showed interest in our painting depot systems - many took advantage of the uncertain Corona period to plan new systems - entirely to our advantage.
Fortunately, the SITEM International Museum Fair was a great success for us as exhibitors. We have to note that while virtual component efforts are important in pandemic times, they will never replace face-to-face encounters. We are looking forward to SITEM 2022!
