Städel Museum Frankfurt
The underground extension of the Städel Museum, designed by Schneider + Schumacher, was opened in 2012 and immediately honoured with the “Museum of the Year” award. The new building below the Städel Garden is particularly impressive with its 195 skylights, which provide the exhibition with daylight. Kern Studer AG delivered the painting storage system for the warehouse in the basement. In order to meet the high quality requirements, we used our high-quality linear guide system in this case. The pull-out racks are adapted to the floor plan and are designed with different lengths.
