The Louvre Museum in Paris has evacuated endangered paintings and sculptures that would be threatened by another flood. The more than 250,'000 works of art are now stored in the new storage facility in Louvre Lens. Kern Studer AG delivered the painting storage system for the warehouse in the basement. We consciously used the sturdy and durable steel rails, which have proven themselves very well in the past. We installed the M-50 guide rails to carry the 2000 kg loads for the large 5000 x 8000 mm pull-out racks.
